The owner has another station in town (Grafton,right).

Can't he hanle competing with himself?

Yes. It used to be co-owned with the AM back in the WTBZ days. I helped to put the Grafton FM on the air thirty years ago when it was WQIT, on 100.9.

A 4,500 watter can reach out to a lot of local Catholic parishes in the Wheeling-Charleston diocese. This signal can potenially reach up to Washington and New Stanton,PA and the surrounding area east of Wheeling,portions of the PA turnpike and western Maryland.
 
Did anybody buy this station? If I was a little younger, not living several states away, I think I could do something with it. The ground conductivity is so much better in WV than North Ga. With a little help of the hills messing with FM signals a well done AM stands a chance. I will give anybody out there who might feel they make it go at this station a little secret. Just contact me thru this board.
