WW1 and CBS Radio have signed a letter of intent to extend their various
agreements, including distribution, programming and compensation, from 2009 to 2017. BUT, according to the press release, CBS Radio's management of WW1 will cease and Westwood will manage itself. CBS owns about 15% of WW1.

...this further explains Tom Leykis' new contract, which is with CBS rather than Westwood1. In announcing it, Leykis unloaded a laundry list of frustrations with WW1 since '94...
