WWBA's Live and Local 1 hour (9-10 AM)

"Dan Gabar or whatever his name is (sorry, can't recall) sounds okay. I don't have any problem with it.... Put it this way: these live and local shows are better to listen to than Boortz constantly chatting with Belinda and Royal about something trivial, such as his private plane or the trouble he goes through in his daily life ( like keeping out of the "diamond" or commuter HOV lanes in Atlanta.)".

I agree. A LOCAL talk show in Tampa Bay would be great. But Dan has A LOT to learn. And he needs to stop with the "I'm the best thing since sliced bread" attitude. He can't pull it off because he can't back it up.

When I hear Boortz talk about Atlanta localisms, I know how the folks in Miami feel when Schnitt talk about Tampa localisms. Can you imagine how people would feel if Rush started complaining daily about the lack of trusted house-keepers in West Palm Bch? :)

The bombast likely looks at himself every time he passes a mirror. He gives Limbaugh a run for being most arrogant.

Boortz wins against Limbaugh because Boortz really believes it. The arrogance is just part of Limbaugh's act. Most people believe it, though.

Schnitt doesn't talk about many Tampa localisms, unless you consider his experience driving to work a "localism"
Schnitt's show is mostly national politics, oil, and celebrities.

Re: Dan's "I'm the greatest." That attitude sure worked for Rush, though he was far from beng the greatest whilst he espoused that attitude.
