NBC12 photojournalist Ernie Moore will be deeply missed

We lost a beloved colleague who's been a part of us for more than three decades. Photojournalist Ernie Moore passed away suddenly today doing the job to which he had dedicated much of his life, whether covering hurricanes on the coast or a community event with 12 About Town, Ernie was there working long hours to bring you the story.
To say that Ernie will be missed is an understatement.
He was the kind of person everyone loved working with.
Our 12 About Town reporter Antoinette Essa probably spent the most time with him in the field over the years. She says Ernie was always like a big brother looking out for his co-workers, especially the new ones.
She says he always knew what was happening even before we did.
No matter how stressful your day was or what kind of a problem you were going through, Ernie could always brighten your day and bring a smile to your face.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ernie's family tonight. His family at NBC12 will miss him too.
