WWBW-LP 96.9

Hey those of you who travel to the Norwich area on a more frequent basis than I do, can anyone confirm for me if WWBW-LP 96.9 is still on the air or not?

Last two times Ive been in the area, I've heard WEHN instead of it. (I did hear it in a prior trip to that.)

They were back briefly about a week ago, playing the same loop of the Tijuana Brass' Greatest Hits and a few other songs they ran before. I could hear some high pitched background noise, too. All they are good at doing is occasionally blocking out WEHN around Mohegan Sun and into the south side of Norwich. If their COL is supposed to be Higganum, they're way off on that one, too. I don't know why they have so many issues. If they ever do get off the ground, WWBW-LP should move to the quieter frequency of 97.1 and consider a format targeting the thousands of Chinese who have moved to the south side of Norwich and Montville's north end. Of course, an engineer should be a top priority, along with someone who can explain why a Higganum station is in Norwich. Very strange.

So they're mostly off and only on occasionally, once in a blue moon?
