WWE had what should've been The Sorpranos Finale!

A limo with Vince McMahon blowing up inside

PRICELESS ;D

And who says WWE can't have a surpise every once in a while!

David Chase should've considered that as the ending for The Sorpanos

I think because you would've had the family inside after eating in a resturant

and out of nowhere BOOM! The end of the show. ;D

That was what everybody wanted to happen on The Sopranos was for Tony to get whacked. It still surprises me that WWE is still going through with this as elaborately as they have and that it has not caused some type of major uproar with the FCC as it relates to reporting false information. We know Vince McMahon is alive and well, but wwe.com is reporting this like he is really presumed dead. I get the feeling that this will bite somebody down the road.

Other than that, what a hell of a way to end the show!

The WWE is actually very careful about how they're "reporting" this story on their web site. No actual names being used, just very generic "federal officers" and such. The firefighters you see in the pictures are real. They were on hand Sunday night as was a fire marshall to make sure this "explosion" went off as planned.

The FCC? It's a fictional soap opera...the FCC has nothing to say, nor should they waste taxpayer time and money, commmenting on a silly joke.

It's called a storyline kids! Maybe Vince wants to kill off his "Mr. McMahon" TV persona? Yes, I'm still going to watch "WWE Raw" anyways. Please don't cry "FAKE!" because that's so 1983. I know much of is gone over and planned for the most part. However, things can and do change and some of those injuries are indeed real. OK, I've put in my two cents. Anybody got change for a dollar? ;)

Oh come on Oldv...can you read?

Look at some of the language being used. As someone else pointed out, the wording is being chosen carefully. I see no definite language used.

"May have taken the life..."
"...was presumed dead..."

Wrestling is a BIGGER FICTIONAL STORY than the Soprano's

The fcc would LAUGH at this. They do not get into programming issues (unless indecency is involved).

Do you like wrestling? You must be 12 years old.

WWE programming is not pro wrestling...it's "sports entertainment."

You want pro wrestling? Look to Japan. It's as good as it gets.

Well Either Way I agree with the one person that said that's the way to end the

show. The WWE has always found ways to cater to young people in the past

which explains one reason why they call it "Sports Entertainment" So far the

broadcasts and the website has been careful not to pronounce him dead and

it maybe a soap opera hoax all together which would be a sigh of relief.

But maybe that's what shows like Grey's Anatomy or CSI should do more

often I think. I doubt that the FCC will spend their time on it because the WWE

as I said have been careful not to say anything false. But for laughs, how about

Dan Rather going on Monday Night Raw apologizing (For fake humor) for reporting

McMahon's death sooner than later or something like that? ???

They'll just have JBL go on Rita Cosby's news show and he will pronounce Vince McMahon dead. Who cares, nobody watches Rita Cosby anyway. Until I saw her for the first time, I thought she was the daughter of Bill Cosby.

...Japan's good, but Mexican Lucha Libre is better. I'm *still* wondering who that female fan was that did that CMLL romantic triangle angle with Emilio Charles Jr. and Shocker five years ago ;-) ...

FCC does not regulate reporting false information in regards to a fictional show or for that matter news information, otherwise Bill Clinton would have been in trouble for reporting that he did not have sex with that woman, Ms Lewinsky. The only time the government gets involved in if it was indecent (in this case wouldn't matter as it was on cable) or if it was a broadcast of a hoax that a reasonable person would believe was real. For example, if I was to do a fictional show in the style of a news report that nuclear weapons have just been launched from China, I would have to let veiwers know that this was a dramatized event. In the WWE's case it should be assumed that it was a dramatized event based on other events that occur in the show.
