WWE RAW VS. UFC UNLEASHED A NEW MONDAY NIGHT WAR ?

I was listening to Wrestling Observer Live on Sirius Radio

last night and I couldn't believe they thought that UFC oppose

that much of a threat to Vince McMahon's empire. I know USA has

already fired the first shot last night with WWE RAW Exposed last

night. I couldn't believe how good that was as USA had the gall

to allow WCW and RAW on Spike TV footage to air on their network.

But I will be watching both RAW and Ultimate Fight Night Live because

nothing excites me about a Packers (0-3) vs. Panthers (1-2) match up.

What a night it's going to be.

UFC had its run for a few years. Its a novelty. The guys can fight, but they have the personalities of storm drains. The Characters are the ones who've kept WWE afloat.

The WWE was smart to return to USA. Theyll have a much better run there.

Not to mention more households. USA is in more cable households than Spike TV. I only caught a little bit of the show, but boy, did it look like it was awesome.<P ID="signature">______________

USA has done more on air promotion of WWE than Spike ever did. Most of the great moments in WWE history happened on USA.

I stopped watching WWE shortly after they merged with the WCW. But when I saw the description on my DISH, I actually decided to DVR it and watch it later. From what I saw, it looked like a great show. Stephanie McMahon looks better w/the bleach hairdo! LOL

Why did WWE bolt to then-TNN? Or did Viacom offer some sweet deal that the WWE couldn't pass up?

Viacom offered a lot of opportunties that USA couldn't match at the time. This was before NBC Universal bought USA Network.

I thought it would be tough to choose what to watch, but UFC was much better than Raw. I knew when I clicked over and saw Stone Cold giving senior citizen Linda McMahon a stunner I could comfortably leave Spike on for some real action. After Hardy jobbed to Edge I was really done. On the bright side a friend called to tell me when the legends were on so I got to see them, but then switched back to UFC.

Between UFC and TNA wrestling, my Monday nights have changed!
