WWE reporting Chris Benoit & Wife Dead

I hope this is not another of their death hoaxes. I have yet to see this reported from any reputable news source. WWE has canceled "Raw" tonight in Corpus Christi, TX.
If this is a hoax, there are gonna be some highly upset people in South Texas
 
Furthering things, VInce McMahon (remember two weeks ago when 'Mr. McMahon' was "killed"?) was on camera tonight in the ring to announce the terrible news. Also, sister network MSNBC reported the news at the top of Scarborough Country.

So, from the scripted, semi-predictable, in-character "death" two weeks ago that the WWE played to the hilt, there have been two real ones in the WWE world since - Sherri Martel last week, for whom a tribute had to be in the offing, and then this.
 
Sadly, it's not a wrestling angle. The Crippler has passed away at the age of 40. Also dead is his wife Nancy Daus Sullivan Benoit and a 7-year-old. Nancy was better known as Woman, and appeared in NWA/WCW and the original ECW. Add the recent death of "Sensational" Sherri "Martel" Schrull and you have three wrestling deaths.

R.I.P. Sherri, Nancy and Chris. :(
 
Hard to believe. To think yesterday Benoit was scratched off of the Vengeance Pay-Per-View due to personal reasons and now to find out that he is dead. I'm still shocked.

Also on a side note, but the WWE will most likely be dropping the Vince McMahon is dead angle...Am I right?

To make things worse, myfoxatlanta reported tonight that investigators have told them that, based on evidence found inside the home that they are not ready to disclose, they believe Benoit may have killed his wife & son a couple of days earlier before taking his own life sometime in the past 24 hours. This is ofcoarse not offical, only what the local fox was told off the record.
