88.1 WWGV from Grove City appears to be on the air. I'm wondering if this happend today because this is the first I've stumbled across it. Amusing to listen to CDR's 88.3 which doesn't fare so well with the high powered adjacent.

WCDR's translator has not faired well since the move to 88.3 the pattern is more directional to the north than it was at 88.1... that 10w did amazing covering columbus prior to the move to 88.3, now it bairly can be heard in hilliard, in fact on the west end of hillard i can hear the Air1 Satellite out of South Vienna (WOAR) instead of Cederville's translator.

I can tell you it was not on Monday evening as I scanned the dial monday coming back to Columbus from west ohio and did not hear it.

Also, Is there any processing on 88.1? the satellite feed seems way more quieter than the legal Id "88.1 WWGV Grove City" processing usually fixes that stuff unless the levels on the comstream are way to lower feeding into the mix going to the processing/transmitter...

They weren't on when I checked last week. They are probably testing their equipment and are likely operating at low power for the time being. Give them a few weeks to get the glitches worked out.

WWGV-FM seems to have fixed most of its technical glitches by now.

They still ID as "88.1 WWGV Grove City". Why not ID as, "88.1 WWGV Grove City-Columbus"? Don't they even care about their Columbus listeners? Is there some other reason why they don't want to include Columbus in
their legal top of the hour IDs? After all, their signal can be heard in most of Columbus.

Don't know why they don't mention columbus in their legal, maybe they just want to have a legal ID with the calls and the city of license. WJJE Deleware is the same way at 89.1.
