WWIQ 106.9 is in HD

106.7 and 107.1 are now buzzing and 106.9 was in HD as of late last night. There is no HD2 and the display says "HD -FM". Wonder what the HD2 format will be.

The HD is not coming up for me out in Norristown area. Perhaps they're still tweaking the signal and the HD may have been on for the briefest of moments. One thing I've noticed with regards to the sound quality as possible attempt to boost their imaging is that there is quite a noticeable reverb effect going on. Methinks there is a lot to be said about compensating for something that is lacking...

I cannot get the HD out in Paoli either. I've also noticed the reverb on Sean. Sounds like NJ101.5's reverb.

No more WLTW probably. Sad.
Very true. I have always been able to pull in WLTW here in Lansdale, albeit weakly. It's been gone the past few days, replaced by IBOC hash.
