Any updates as to who will buy 640 AM and what format will replace Radio Disney?

None so far that I know of. But it probably won't be sold for a while. Maybe by march of 2015, but even that seems unlikely. WWJZ is an utter powerhouse of 50kW, and so therefore the electric bill is very high. I suspect CBS could look at it, and maybe make it a news/talk show thing, with hopefully some more liberal guys on. I think that could work.

No way CBS is going to touch it. While the daytime signal is OK, it has virtually no night coverage. We are talking leased ethnic or religion here.

CBS can't touch it. Aren't they maxed out now in the Philly market with their latest swap of stations?

True, I think ethnic or religion seems right. I don't know why I thought CBS would look at it, but hey. Maybe it could be something else with it. How about standards or classic hits from westwood one? Like WQLL 1370. I think it could work, and since it has piss poor nighttime coverage, it wouldn't be too expensive. I just do not want another ethnic/ religious station.

I'd love to see someone do an updated version of pop-standards.
