how's the night signal of 640 in Phillly ? (950 watts). Listenable ?
could this be a reason nobody is rushing to buy 640? Or does Disney want too much $$$ for it ?

In a word, it "sucks." The night signal does not even come close to covering all of Philly itself, let alone the Philly metro. If you want to cover NE Philly, Bensalem, and the Pine Barrens at night, it'll do it. If you want to be heard in PA outside of the areas mentioned, forget it.

Now if you're talking WWJZ's day signal, that's just the opposite: it's very respectable.

I am 20 miles away from the station. 950 watts at night is actually not too bad here. Gives me about 42dBu with minor background DX.

I can hear it fine in King of Prussia at night in the car. I've never tried it in the house.
