I have an IDEA for WWL's 2pm-5pm time slot:
It's time for Garland Robinette to RETIRE and the IDEAL replacement for Mr. Robinette is:
JAY HOOKS, and for his sidekick, go to New England and snatch KAREN SWENSEN back to New Orleans and have them together. It would be a RIOT....

I agree with Smashedcd on this one. I loved Jay Hooks on radio also but also we may see all posts eliminated dealing with Hooks to keep this place not like other boards.


Truthfully, Karen Swensen left to be closer to family in Boston... Mr. Garland was only supposed to be a temporary fill for David Tyree while he was sick (and who unfortuneately died right after Katrina) with Garland doing his duty when people and the station needed him.
Now WWL is getting back to some look as before, possibly look for Mr. Garland to bow out when he feels like going now (as he only intended to be temporary).

I think I may just have to start a Jay Hooks Yahoo! group to deal with all of axedriver's threads. HA! HA!
Better yet... how about Jay Hooks back on the air on every station with a license in the New Orleans area with his sidekick...get ready for this...the one... the only... AXEDRIVER!
