WWL-AM/United Radio Webcast Off?

Though I suppose I could walk over to the SuperRadio and try my hand at 870 AM, I clicked the "Listen Live" link on the WWL/870 site, which, as always since Katrina, has linked to a feed provided by Clear Channel's WSKR in the Baton Rouge market.

That feed is not working this early morning. Is WSKR still in the United Radio setup, or did it get thinned out of the group when a number of FMs went back to regular programming? Or are they just working on it at 1 AM? :D

I think the plan has been to get the United stream off of WSKR's stream, so the Score can get back to streaming its product.

EDIT: As of 1:07 CDT on 9/30/05, United is on.
Edited by mightynine on 09/30/05 06:07 AM.

United Radio/WSKR Webcast Problem Could Have Been Mine

As it turns out, I had developed some problems with Windows Media Player, and it was choking on a LOT of files until this afternoon...many of them with error messages about bad filetypes or not being able to play any of the files in the playlist.

I fiddled with it, uninstalled, reinstalled and then installed WMP 10 again (Windows XP SP2) and after the second install, it works fine. Tonight, at just past midnight Monday New Orleans time, the WSKR/Baton Rouge stream's up with the United feed.

EDIT: And one other thing I've found out. WSKR has apparently abandoned its own former webcast URL. If you go to their website, they have a DIFFERENT feed which is currently running ESPN Radio. The old WSKR feed, linked on WWL's web site, is running United Radio.
