I finally got a clear answer about WWLP's on-air but program-free second digital subchannel (it was TheCoolTV until last month). That is to say, they haven't decided its fate yet, but they're negotiating with what to do with it (and I assume networks; I flat out mentioned The CW). At least it's a positive answer.

over here in Boston area, Our NBC Affilate (Channel 7) their 7.2 is (This TV) which airs (Old Movies) 1970s-early 2000
It seems everyone and their Brother who was a COOL TV affiliate dumped them in the past month or two.Lin Picked up Bounce.Cool TV will be off the air by years end with only 3 affiliates left.They had like 85 affiliates at one piont.
Bounce TV is ok. It's not all that/
Keep e-mailing WWLP , LIN , and ME-TV requesting ME-TV. They (LIN) already have deals with BOUNCE on many of there affiliates .
So it wouldn't be hard to add BOUNCE to WWLP. Bounce is already on a LIN owned station in CT. I have seen BOUNCE and its not that great. I would much prefer ME-TV but I don't think its gonna happen

That's right. There's not a single LIN station that airs Me-TV. Still, I'd rather see The CW on the subchannel, because there's not OTA affiliate in the DMA, not to mention WSHM could carry it if it ever drops its 24/7 weather feed (which, if WFSB does the same, would also bring Me to both Springfield and CT).MarcB said:
