WWLR's signal

Recently, here up in the NEK, WWLR the impulse 91.5 the impuse got a new transmitter at the end of Aug with the same power replacing the old one. On sat 9/30 I visited the COG railway on the west side of Mt.Washington and I used to get our station clearly but I can't seem to get it their anymore. but at the same time I am getting radio requests from Island Pond VT which I never got in the past.
I was curious and I doubt I'll get a responce, has anyone noticed a change in the siganl at all for those who have visted this area.
Unfortunatly, I have no say what goes on for it because I am just a doing what I love being a DJ but I can pass along the word if any of you have noticed a change. thanks -OZ

OZ. How's 'TOS coming in now for you? I noticed they were back.I'm picking them up in Gray Me. with a much better signal.

whatever they did fixing the signal the other day... I am really happy :) I have noticed a small difference in signal strengh of them being a bit stonger. now no static in my dorm room @ college where I used to get a little static (obviously facing east tward Burke Mtn.) When I go to my freinds house near school in the other side of a hill, over the last few days where only 105.1 wkol comes in. I can get TOS about all of 10 seconds more going over the hill where both might have interfered before with WKOL whahoo! I hope I can now get TOS at Jay peak VT now because of this small change/fix.
p.s. If you haven't notied yet yes I do listen to our college station a lot ... but prefer rock music so I do listen to TOS a lot as well... unfortunatly, I haven't been able to find a way of getting 99.9 the Buzz clearly but I can get it fuzzy. any antenna suggestions? I currently sitck a 12 channel indoor radio shack antenna with a 10db signal amp (hooked up seprately) with a carver tx-11 tuner (that I as well modified with 110khz filters) love to give the fm 50 terk a try if any of you have tried it compared to other antennas. If you guys don't have any suggestions is oh well can't get everthing in life...

If there wasn't any change in power, nor any antenna change, more than likely it is a temperature inversion causing a change the propagation characteristics of the WWLR signal. This is very common about this time of year. We get many Maine and New Hampshire stations here in the South Coast of Massachusetts from time to time (i.e.- WHOM, WBLM, WMGX et.al.) . Usually about this time we get many Maritime Canada FM and TV (from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia) as well. Once the trees are bare and when the outside temperatures begin to fall below 40, the local coverage will improve somewhat. The trops will be come much less frequent. Try 91.5 in the Mount Washington Valley in about a month and you'll notice an improvement in the coverage. You will probably notice some enhanced ground wave as well from 91.7 from Sherbrooke, QC (CBME).
