I've noticed that at about midday, that is halfway between sunrise and sunset, not necessarily noontime, I've been receiving a surprisingly good signal from WWNH-AM 1340 in Madbury, NH. I live in northern Massachusetts, near the NH border, but I don't recall getting as good a signal from this outlet previously. According to FCC records, it's licensed for a mere 250 watts, and even the occasionally good-for-a-laugh radio-locator.com shows it signal being depleted long before it gets to me...and there's no CP for a boost to 1 kw. Does anybody know if they've installed a new more efficient tower or moved it closer to Mass?

Isn't WWNH owned or controlled by the infamous scofflaw Brian Dodge?
If so, little things like licensed power may be "negotiable".
