WWNJ/91.1 Dover Township

WWNJ is a 50,000 watt relay of WWFM and is licenced to Dover Twp., Ocean County, NJ.

I am in Ocean County, about 25 miles from the WWFM transmitter, and for the last week or so WWNJ has been completely unlistenable, lost in static.

Even W230AA/93.9 - WWFM's 27 watt translator in Atlantic City - has been coming in considerably better then 50,000 watt WWNJ.

Maybe they are having transmitter or antenna problems
and it's running very low power.
I see they have a 90 day STA (Special Temporary Authority)
Officially Granted on June 20, 2005 (as Pirate Jim would say)
so I would assume they are having some problems.
