WWNN 1470

Today when I was traveling from Wildwood to Orlando along the turnpike I recieved WWNN around 7pm for probably 50 miles as if it was a local station. How can this be on the upper part of the AM band? The other 50KW stations from South Florida were not recievable, nor were 560 or 610. This is way our of their pattern as listed on radio-locator.
