Westwood One announces the strategic hire of John Wordock in the newly-created role of Executive Editor of Podcasting, beginning February 15. In this post, Wordock will be responsible for content strategy and development for Westwood One Podcast Network, based in New York. He joins WWO from the Wall Street Journal, where he most recently served as Executive Producer of Podcasts and guided the multi-department team that launched the podcast "The Future of Everything."

As an editor and producer, Wordock is no stranger to Westwood One, having served as Executive Editor of The Wall Street Journal and MarketWatch.com Radio Networks, which were at one time syndicated by the network. Prior to The Wall Street Journal, he held posts at CBS MarketWatch, the Associated Press and Bloomberg TV.
