WWON new owners?

I saw that the WWON sale closed last month, does anyone have any info on the new owners? Have they made any changes or does the station sound the same as before?

I don't know about the new owners, but I notice the old owners just got their little low power FM in Florida busted for 8 grand for operating at triple power and running an illegal translator.

First let me correct you. We do not own WFBO, and that fine was based on what was done 6 months before we even arrived on the scene.

WWON's new owners flipped the station to a different country format, four hours after closing.

You have to remember what government agency levied the fine...the same one that allowed Southern Media Group to move the stick of the Harriman Tn. FM before the FCC approved it and they forgot to pay the application fee due to not having the money so they reduced the fine to a slap on the wrist and approved the CP then they sold the station to a Knoxville owner for about $3M.

Oops, did I say that out loud?

I'm sorry, I got carried away.
