WWON Waynesville off the air

What happened to WWON in Waynesville? Its been off the air and not on Live 365 anymore.

Did the new owner on an LMA default? They did have a good hometown radio theme that worked for 5 years.
 
I thought it was sold a few months back. It went for less than 100k. Must not have enough revenue to keep it going. I believe it is less that 500w daytime with low power at night. It is the only local station in the county, there is an FM but it has moved to a bigger market. I have seen their web site and the hometown theme sounded good. I never got to listen to them streaming on the web.

Where is Waynesville? Or do you mean Waynesboro, TN? If it is Waynesville, NC, then why is this question posted on the Nashville board?
 
I missed that. I was familiar with the calls and missed the town name. WWON is in Waynesboro, Tn. ...Ooops!
