WWRC in Washington, DC boosts power

I understand that as of last evening WWRC-AM 1260 in Washington, DC increased their
nighttime power from 5000 to 25,000 watts. Anyone have reception reports on the new
signal? I am personally too close to the towers of 1250 WDDZ in Pittsburgh and don't
think I will ever get it locally.

I thought they were increasing the DAYTIME power to 25,000 watts and leaving the NIGHTTIME power at 5,000 watts. Maybe I am wrong ??

The CP states an upgrade in DAYTIME power. I suppose they could cheat, but I wouldn't think that DC would be the best place to do it.

My observation here in northern VA is that WWRC sounded stronger here for the last several weeks but little or no changes at night while WKDL 1250 in Warrenton, VA became much weaker about the same time. I'm between the 2 stations.
