WWRL-AM in NYC drops Sam Seder for Stephanie Miller!

Driving in to work this morning, listening the last hour of yesterday's Stephanie Miller Show podcast on the MP3 player and running a little late, at 9:07 I switched over to WWRL as usual to hear Sam Seder and was surprised to hear Stephanie Miller instead!

Mixed feelings here... I enjoy both programs. So now I'll be listening to Seder one day delayed instead of Miller.

WWRL with AAR programming has already gone from zero to measurable in the 12+ ratings... it will be interesting to see what happens now with Miller in this daypart.

Seder better pack his bags. He can't compete with the superior Miller. Kudo's to WWRL!

Apparenty, signing up Stephanie Miller was a response to Seder having referred to morning show co-host Armstong Williams' payoffs from the Bush administration yesterday. The last time Seder said something about the payoffs, the next day the communications between Air America "failed", and Sam Greenfield (Williams' co-host on the morning show) "filled in".

Magically, the communications were restored that day just in time for the Al Franken Show.

Today, WWRL management is lying to people who call them to complain, saying that AAR is feeding Stephanie Miller (a Jones Radio program) to them.

Given this history, it's possible that WWRL will change its mind Thursday.

We'll see.

They wouldn't have me ;)

Miller is ( IMHO ) the most entertaining of the liberal talkers. But that's like saying Elizabeth Hasselbeck is the best looking chick on the view ;)
