Too bad WLIB did not go talk---african american. WWRL has signal problems in my area of NYC. Air America seems to be on life-support here.

Another poster said when the AAR change-over was first announced that Armstrong and Williams would do a more mainstream morning show to fit in with the progressive talk format. Well, I'm listening and they are not! It's the same Urban Talk, Black-targeted morning show they did before - with the same regular callers. The issues they talk about are oriented to the Black community. The perspective is geared to the Black community.
Only problem is at 9am they shift to White liberal (aka Progressive) talk. Talk about a flow kill.
Very true. I'd add they "should" do a more mainstream show. I know such a shift might take time to develop but they did have some warning about this.I didn't say they "would" do a more mainstream show. I said they were capable of doing so. Big difference.
