Anyone know what's up with WWTN's signal?
It's almost non listenable in southern middle TN now.

WWTN is powered at 100,000 watts at nearly 1300 feet, with its tower in Murfreesboro, about 30 miles southeast of Nashville. That's according to Radio-Locator.com. So that's a signal that should cover much of Central Tennessee. But maybe it's having some transmitter problems.
 
There are times when they're on full power that they blast into West TN and blow out WMC FM100 in Memphis, especially in the Summer.
 
On trips to Nashville sometimes my wife will try to tune in FM100 but once we're past Jackson WWTN starts to come in and I can't get her to understand it's not the same station and to tune somewhere else because we don't want News/Talk, especially with the pro-Trump garbage that goes on now. :rolleyes:

My sister once claimed to be able to pick up FM 100 all the way to Dickson along I-40. But this was about 20 years ago. Best that I have ever done was to be able to pick up 92 from Jackson into the Dickson area.

92.3 from Milan/Jackson was a beast. You could almost hear it from Memphis to Nashville along I-40. It also goes pretty far north along the I-55 run to St. Louis.

Going from St. Louis to Memphis, I remember hearing 101.9 (when it was still at Jonesboro and before the upgrade/downgrade into Memphis) as far north as Herculaneum, MO, which is about 30 miles south of St. Louis. FM 100 seemed to do pretty well along that route, too. It certainly seemed to do better toward the north than it did heading west.
