WWTQ Threads and discussion

I've decided to move the WWTQ discussion entitled "Leon's Show" to the News/Talk board. That's too intense for our forum here. Please address further Talk Radio subjects in that forum.

Sorry, we were getting out of hand here... we, myself included, are coming to a fever pitch over the political aspects of NT programming on our two stations - which, if Memphis listeners do the same, is probably indicative of a good thing happening to programming on the AM dial here. In that respect, the thread's original poster is likely correct about the station's impact. "Congratulations in advance"...
______________

If this is "too intense", you can move it or delete it. Whether you like or hate WWTQ or any progressive talk station, one thing I think we can agree on is that it offers a healthy exchange of ideas. No longer do you have to just hear only one side of things. After all, there are two sides to every story. I'm almost as liberal as they come, but I also want to hear what the conservatives are saying. I even want to hear what moderates, independents and libertarians have to say. But may the best station win, whether it's WREC or WWTQ.
______________

I only moved the other thread because it ceaced being about Memphis radio and pertained to national talk radio politics. We just gotta keep it local and try not to draw blood when we get into the talk radio issues.

As I said, even I was guilty in that thread.
______________

Intensity is frequently present when people engage in free speech. I could be wrong, but I sense that maybe intensity wasn't the root problem here. Either way.... Message recieved. Sadly
______________

I think you got the wrong message. I didn't delete the discussion, simply moved it to a more appropriate forum. Intensity is a good thing but we were simply getting off track and I thought it was more appropriate to move the thread to a board where it was more relevant.

What, now you think I'm trying to silence the left? Sheesh!

The response from the Moronie gang...

"I would like to direct this to the destinguished members of the panel. You lousy corksuckers. You have violated my fargon rights. This Sum-a-batching country was founded so that the liberties of common patriotic citizens like me could not be taken away by a bunch of fargon iceholes like yourselves. Thank you very much."
