WWV to end Solar-Terrestrial Conditions reporting

I heard an announcement on WWV last night, which said something to the effect that they will discontinue broadcasting Solar-Terrestrial Conditions reports soon.
Those reports are the hourly announcements that give current (up-to-date) A-Index, K-Index and other info that is used to predict radio propagation. If anyone uses these (many propagation software programs do), you should take the on-line survey that NIST is running, and comment on this. Also, give them input on what else you use, or would like to hear on WWV and WWVH.

I'm suggesting that they do a yearly "stunt" (on April first, or on the anniversary of the first WWV broadcasts) and call themselves "WWV: The Rhythm of America", with a jingle and special QSL cards, to promote what they do. ;D

So does this mean I won't be able to call them up and hear it over the phone, either?

"2. Hire low paid female sidekick for announcer who laughs hysterically every time he gives the time." (from oldiesfan6479's link)

I hear Jane Barbe's still working full-time at WWVH....
