WWVH - Hawaii

Presume this helps answer your question regarding whether this radio is a good performer. ;D

(Congratulations on your catch!)

Getting WWVH on 10mHz is can be a function of the crazy auroral conditions as well. I'd get WWVH, or WWV and WWVH together on 15 mHz occasionally from Ohio

I've occasionally gotten WWVH as well, here in eastern Ontario, though always under WWV.

Usually at night I can get WWVH behind WWV on my Tecsun PL-390. Luckily the two are set up not to interfere with one another so WWV is quiet while WWVH does its ID. I seem to be able to pick up CHU on 3330 pretty much 24 hours a day, maybe its because I'm pretty close to the transmitter.

As we speak, I'm hearing WWVH on 10 MHz, underneath WWV, with my old Sanyo boombox. As always, a good set of heads phones help. :D

I too get CHU 24/7, but have picked it up in Vancouver BC (with the DX-440), as well.

Right now at 4:30 EST I am getting this at 15 MHz at a signal varying from very weak to fairly strong. Much weaker on 10 MHz.
