A great listen and loads of fun. The classic commercials were as ubiquitous as the music...and just as much fun to hear today. I know that this is an attempt (and a superb one at that) to recreate the processing and sound of vintage top 40 a.m. radio. But I personally would prefer just a little more "brightness" to the audio now that this is a 40kbs stream.

I like it- good song selection for the most part, and pretty fine processing. It's a shame we have to hunt down this kind of radio on the Internet, but at least it's there, thank goodness.

I personally would prefer just a little more "brightness" to the audio if you listen in winamp and i suppose other media players..you can boost the high end with the onboard EQ..does brighten it up a bit..still an AM type feed is not gonna have the sound quality and presence an FM feed would..but boost then EQ and it sounds a bit better..as for locating the old commercials..i have roughly a thousand culled from the web..and if your sneaky..you can pull them off their feed and have them for your own.. ::)

Thanks. Been there, done that. Boosting the high end on the EQ definitely helps. I realize that this stream not going to sound like FM, nor is it supposed to. But to my ears....the 40kbs stream sounds closer to phone line quality than '60s/early 70s am radio......superb processing notwithstanding.

A minor point, to be sure, and just one man's opinion.
