That website has that threat on there since they started their fantastic voyage on The Bone, and upon further review of the trainwreck on 93.3, hiding is not necessary for RMS or anyone else that dares to take the airwaves at the same time as the P&K juggernaut...;)
 
You can tell russ is shaking in his boots (please read into my sarcasm). First off pugs would need to grow a pair to start anything with russ. Secondly no one would hear it for 2 reasons. 1. PandK show is just dead air and 2. You cant hear anything trhough that static.
 
Yep that should bring dfw listenership to a screeching halt. P&K are a very good example why radio is on an IV.
 
I can't imagine even the hardcore P&K fans are happy with that product on the Bone. Take a segment, talk about tv, then it's a twofer from AC/DC and Nickleback. No flow, shoehorn in as much as possible, then a little CCR and Allman Brothers. It's a painful listen.
 
Kraddick does it, you would think they would "borrow" some ideas from him. I mean he has stole enough material to make his show work. Just ask Russ.
 
Kraddick, however, has been working within a music format for years. P&K are trying to move from all-talk to a music station and having a harder learning curve than they probably thought.
 
These two are freaking PATHETIC! I dont think anyone is hearing them. HEY P&K where ya gonna work when the numbers come out? ::)
 
You forget they are on the Bone. They air anything.
 
Roger that! these two are pathetic! Kelli has the inteligence of my 2-year old daughter. Actually, my little girl is much more intelligent than that freakshow. What's the deal with her hiding her marriage? she's a HO and always will be. Give her 6 months, with flyboy until he ralizes how bad he f'ed up!
 
I was pretty excited when I saw the message to Russ the weekend before they started. Then I listened... NOTHING! No mention of him, no back story, no attempt at an attack, no smack talk... NOTHING! What a disappointment. I liked their old show, but if you're gonna write something like that on your website, then BRING IT and talk some junk!! Instead... NOTHING. They might as well take that off the site. It means NOTHING. What a bummer. I was really hoping for an old-fashioned radio war. I haven't heard of one in YEARS!! Oh well, back to Bubba The Love Sponge on Sirius, I guess.
 
P&K are another fine example of what I call radio abortion. Their whole "situation" is a joke and prolly without merit, same with their show...
 
I was just driving past Jupiter and Kinglsey. They are setting up for a remote for the Bone.
I checked the Bone web site and sure enough P&K will be there this afternoon.

This corner is the worst place to be on a Friday afternoon in Dallas.
1. Road construction/down to one lane on Kingsley.
2. Big rigs coming and going.
3. LBJ is a stone's throw from there and long lights.

This place is a convenience store where every manual laborer cashes his check!
Also, as the evening drags on, certain ladies of the night stop in to buy condoms, cigarettes and chewing gum.
All in that order.
Pugs and Kelly should fit right in.

I wonder if Kelly will stop to talk to any of the patrons and tell them about her boob job?

I wonder if they will cite this as lawsuit material when they get cancelled?
Has Russ ever done a remote from a 7-Eleven?

Party on dudes and get that paycheck cashed!!!

Kelly's basement in Chicago never looked so good! I heard about the remote on the radio, and could just imagine what was going through their minds. Love em, or hate em, a remote at a convenience store isn't something that any jock should have to do.
 
I like The Bone and Gary Thompson. Having said that, I'm not keen on the P&K show. While I can appreciate Gary's attempt to mix talk and music, it's P&K that are souring the 2-6 pm slot, not the music. The latter is an eclectic mix of rock true enough, but one I find to be a good one.

With regard to Bone remotes, the venue changes from week to week, thus the Kingsley location is not indicative of the SOP of the show locales. Mind you, I attended the P&K show live a week ago yesterday in Frisco. Here's what I came away with.

The staff on site was their excellent selves, that is, the promo team. However, P&K (unlike all former hosts of the Bone's BITW Friday's) sat behind a table in a corner as if they were King and Queen expletive. Absolutely no attempt was made to interact with the patrons as former DJ's did. There was a distinct dichotomy between them and those who were customers.

Moreover, Ms Thang was acting bitchy because she couldn't figure out how to get her precious little laptop connected to the Internet. I overheard her hollering downline about it. And wow, I never realized how unattractive she was. Pugs on the other hand had wifey there supervising him.

Yes, I left after an hour, disappointed. Friday's with The Bone used to be a somewhat fun occasion but even that has been relegated to an experience on par with a trip to the dentist.

As for me and my house, we'll just say NO to P&K.
 
Why KDBN got em is beyond me...they stink, they're rude and they lack talent...

Man, you nailed that one.

Their biggest mistakes were their egos. They got big heads, thought they were on top of the world, got pissed at something at KLLI and decided their contracts were violated and walked with intent to sue CBS (again), and didn't think about where they were going to go next. In fact, I'll bet the only thing they thought about was that they were going to get their walking papers soon so they may as well try to go out with a bang. That bang turned into a fizzle. I predict that in less than a year Pugs will be doing traffic locally and Kelly will be mom-ing it up in Corpus Christi with a husband who had no idea what he got himself into. That is of course, if their show or the station even last that long.
 
I don't doubt that prediction at all, 5515. I know they have a one-year contract and that KDBN is expecting advertising revenue to carry over with their followers. Honest to Pete, they sat in that corner like reluctant mafioso. I hope you're wrong and that they're gone sooner. I already am cognizant of a campaign by some old Boneheads directed at Dan Bennett to oust P&K.
 
I am so disappointed. I supported these two. What a couple of jerks. I couldn't believe the stories I heard how they treaded the interns and other people at the old place, but i guess they are true. Who do they think they are??? they aren't even b&s stardom. thanks for the info Scotty.
