www.radio-locator.com maps

When will Radio-locator get new maps? They can't get any new upgraded maps?

These are some of the few computerized maps that have city limits of communities on them. Your best bet would be to copy the map and paste an overlay over it for better detail. They discontinued the Tiger Maps at the FCC. They don't have the city grade contours on either the AM or the FM, because they want to sell more useful maps. FCC prediction methods are also often at odds with reality. What do you expect for free?

I wish TV Fool did coverage maps for FM like they do for TV. Their TV maps actually factor in local terrain and color code the map. This is a lot more useful than an estimated service contour that doesn't factor in small hills, etc that will impact the signal in a specific area.
