WWWE 1100 kHz AM on late

I've noticed that WWWE (Hapeville, Georgia) was on well into the evening at 11pm with Spanish Christian inspirational music. The signal was pretty strong and over WTAM on the frequency, so I think they may be on their daytime power?

Some am's especially the one' who program ethnic do whatever they want. They seem to get a pass from the fcc. 1040 am runs it's full power all the time when they have critical hours and well after sunset are they are a daytimer. So with 1100 I'm not surprised.

I could possibly understand leaving the carrier on, but playing music? The FCC's policy is they don't take action unless someone complains.

There's been more & more of this going on. So many stations ignore the sunset rules.

1100 is owned by the Beasley Group. I'll bet this was a mistake involving a remote control/computer problem - they may not even be aware it is happening.
I'll email their engineer and let him know.

Looks like the error was corrected last night as they powered down and signed off at their normal time and remained off.
