WWYZ playing 2 or 3 songs at the same time - 8:00 AM

Really Strange. Just before 8 this morning I was listening to Garth Brooks "2 Pina Coladas" when I heard the high frequencies going up and down by about 6dB. It got really bright and then really dull about 10 times. I assumed they were tweaking the processing.

Then the song cut off abruptly, there was about 1 second of silence, then the jock came on and intro'd a Brad Paisley song like nothing happened. Then some other song came on under it, and then another, and then another, all throughout Brad Paisley. When the Paisley song was over everything went back to normal and the jock again acted like nothing happened.

I know it's voice tracked. But what the heck was going on with the audio??? Wierd.

Oh yes Alan, I concur whole heartedly!!! ( He writes dripping with sarcasm ) Let's get back to rational discussion....You are a true professional...I think the problem stems from the 1.21 gigawatts that pumped through the system early saturday morning...I'll get Doc Brown to look into it for you..

Alright. I'll bite. But just a little bite, mind you. And if this snowballs into a flame war, I'll report again, and the next time I'll ask for the removal of the entire thread.

I want to ask why you think Marc and I need to get a life, when it seems, Jordan, that you are also making pointless posts, and on top of that, trying to be antagonistic. Let me say that I was once emailed personally by one of the senior moderators of this excellent site and offered a job. When I learned that it meant I could no longer post, I declined. It didn't always used to be that way, but in light of the way people sometimes handle themselves on message boards, it was decided that moderators should be just that-- moderators and nothing more.

People like you, Jordan, make policies like that necessary in order to provide a pleasant posting environment for the rest of us. And as far as getting a life goes: Stop quoting TV show themes and movies (and yes I too am an avid BTTF fan) and start doing something constructive with your time, like speaking intellegently about RADIO, which is what this site is for.
