Is it just me, or is "The WXBQ Morning Air Show" the worst name for a morning show? When I hear that, I think of passing gas.

What's wrong with "Richard and Steve in the Morning"?
 
You're right, but WXBQ is successful by default, so it really doesn't matter.

Anyway, my question at Bristol is if they are going to get rid of Imus now after his controversial comments on the Rutgers women's hoops team.

I don't think they will or should.

But I will be interested to see what happens during the two weeks he's off.

Will they just run a "Best of Imus?"

Are you kidding? It's Bristol. A 60-something white guy dissed a group of black girls and you wonder if they'll get rid of his show? They'll probably give him a medal. It's Bristol so the "hoes" comment probably flew right past some of his listeners but the "jigaboo" comment probably brought back fond memories to some of the listeners in the Tri-Cities who think it's still okay to use that kinda language. Git-r-done.
 
I agree with Mr. Allen, hell, maybe they should replay him all day, the real "back-wood folks" would love it!
