WXGO-AM Madison moving to Cincinnati area

Only 330 watts, daytime only, NO nighttime. In a hill terrian.Whats up with that??

Seems to me like they would have been better off to stay in Madison. A six tower array would seem to be incredibly expensive. And all those towers means the pattern is really tight -- is not a full-market signal daytimes, and no nights (although 58 watts [the current configuration] isn't much).

And Alabama!

It makes little sense to me to move WXGO from Madison to Aurora. That area is already being covered pretty well by WSCH/WXCH as well as the Cincinnati stations. There's not much going on with the radio dial in Madison. The new signals will have very little impact on an already saturated Cincinnati AM radio dial. Smaller radio stations in Cincy are already having a hard enough time with full metro coverage. Look at WCIN, for instance.
