WXIA's HD news may have it's first plastic surgery victim

It is being widely rumored (and rebutted by station management) that Brenda Wood is going under the knife for plastic surgery as a result of WXIA's HD cameras. It was featured in the AJC's Peach Buzz section today.

I hope this is not true. I know that some anchors are afraid of HD because it shows facial features in fine detail.

I honestly don't think that there are people watching the news talking about and anchor's zits. These anchors need to relax. And plastic surgery is NOT the answer.
 
Watching 11 Alive news at 11 pm on 7/24/06. Brenda does look like she has had some work done. Her cheeks now stand out. I am watching on an analog set. Does anyone else agree?
