Just happened to find some old recordings of WXLC-102.3 Waukegan, IL (Now Hot AC) from the 1991-1993 era as a CHR "Hot 102.3" They're short, low quality and some parts are scoped but they're a good hear. I think these are the first forms of "airchecking" I ever did. I was about 5 or 6 years old when I made these.

WXLC 1: Runs 5min. Not much just a few songs and part of an old EBS test.

WXLC 2: 11min of AT40 with Shadoe Stevens. Has a nice TOH ID Jingle at the beginning IDing as "Hot 102.3 WXLC Waukegan-Libertyville"

WXLC 3: Bout 10min of the morning show.

I also have a few minutes of WTMX-101.9's morning show on one of these tapes. I may post thatlater.
