I heard Lady D on Friday night hosting a show called the Friday night fix and Chuck Perks on Saturday night hosting The Awesome 80's.

Lady D on Friday night? Thanks for the post! I'll have to see if she's on this Friday. If so, GOOD for her! Lady D is a staple in the Boston area and I am MORE than happy to know she found a new home. I miss 'XLO... I was on-air there 2002-2003... even filled in a few times on the Awesome '80s... good station.

I agree with you all, yeah, that station is cool. I get that station very little at my Uncle's Apartment in Revere.
Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 is also on there Sunday Mornings 7am-11am. I love his show Your thoughts on Rick Dees?

Saturday afternoon I heard Frank Foley on XLO. He's normally heard weekday afternoons
on 100FM The Pike. Perhaps it was just a fill-in, or maybe the Citadel folks are looking to
liven up all of the weekend shifts.

Mike Mcgowan is also on Sunday mornings 11am-4pm. Their program director is Jerry McKenna. He used to be Star 93.7 Program Director. Now, Lady D is working there, as (Outthebeach2010) stated, Chuck Perks is also on there.
Could this be the next "Star 104.5"?? (like the recent "Star 93.7") It's so sad that how they took away "Star 93.7" I hope and pray to God that "Star 93.7" returns. With the right Radio Programs and the right Radio Hosts, they can be sucessfull, and better than before. As I mentioned before, If not "Star 93.7" then make "Funkytown" go to 93.7 and Make it "Funkytown 93.7" and put (Mike FM go to their HD2 Station)
That's just my idea, no one ever listens to me and everyone always get mad at me. I don't mean no harm to no one, these are just ideas. MIKE FM says "they play everything" I don't hear New Ruben Studdard, I don't hear new Charlie Wilson, I don't hear new Angie Stone, I don't hear new Whitney Houston, no (real) radio station in Boston plays that music, and MIKE FM says they play everything? They say they play everything, so play those and make themselves better. It's so sad that there's no true radio station playing good new music like those. Everything is Rock and Roll, not everybody likes Rock and Roll.

if they can't do that, Radio Management should change 92.9 to "Soft 92.9" but play "Today's Soft Hits" with more focus on New Urban AC such as those artist that I mentioned above. Because 92.9 comes in crystal clear thoughout the city as well as outside the city. (This is listenning on a walkman, and I assume it's the same if you live in the city)
Or if they can't do that, change 93.7 to "Soft 93.7" same idea. But get more better signal coverage throughout the city where they can't be heard (I listen on a walkman, I assume it's the same if you work in tose cities as well) Downtown Crossing area, Mass General Hospital Aea, Hatchell Area, Comm Ave area, Brookline, China Town, Brighton, Allston, Roxbury. I listen on a walkman and can not get 93.7 in those areas. I'm assuming it's the same if you live there and or work there in those areas. That is why I say they should get a stronger signal coverage througout all of Boston. When you look on 93.7 website, you see pictures of Boston Common, and Citgo Sign, but 93.7 can not be heard on a walkman around those areas, even Kenmore Square area. That's sad.
If they can't change 93.7, or 92.9, than Entercom Programming Management should change 97.7 to "Soft 97.7" same idea and focus on more new Urban AC. Same with their coverage, I can not get it in those areas as I said, and also East Boston I get it very little, as well as Orient Heights area of East Boston it comes in very little, in Revere it comes in better, but not as strong. Salem, Ma area it comes in very little, it interfears with "Country 97.5" They should get a stronger signal inside Boston so you can hear it all around the whole Boston. Something's got to be done, Radio Management has to do something better. Another idea might be switch 92.9 signal with either 93.7, or 97.7, switch either 93.7 or 97.7 to "Soft 93.7" and or "Soft 97.7" let them have 92.9 signal coverage.
Something's got to be done. There's a lot of good music out there besides Rock And Roll and Nightmare Rock and Roll music. There's a lot better than that out there. Radio Program Management has to do something better

Maybe you should email the PD's with your ideas...just to see what they say...

Lady D is on right NOW doing the Friday Night Fix (just past 10pm as I post this). I wish they would promote this new show on wxlo.com and put Lady D as a DJ. When I was there, I oversaw the websites for WORC-FM and 'XLO in 2003, plus helped a little with 100.1 The Fox (now the Pike). I made sure all the weekenders were on the website and the time grid (that shows who is on) was always correct, even when someone was on vacation and someone else was filling in. That's my only suggestion is that whoever is currently overseeing content, give Lady D and the Friday Night Fix a website promo please!
