Email from WXNT to its listeners
It seems like twice a year every TV network shuffles their programming lineup and moves at least one of your favorite shows to a different time. The changes inevitably will upset many viewers. In the end, you usually find your favorite show and continue watching. You may even discover some new shows that you come to love. WXNT is making changes to our lineup for the new Fall season in much the same way. We know some of you will love the changes and some will hate them. Hopefully, you received this morning's announcement for the debut of The Phil Hendrie Show live in overnights (1:00am to 4:00am weekdays). In order to accomodate Phil's arrival, Alan Colmes moves into a live timeslot from 10:00pm to 1:00am weeknights. We know many of you strongly disagree with Alan's liberal views; but, you can't agree with everything we say! Now that Alan will be in a live slot, I hope you'll call him and voice your opinions! Mike McConnell will no longer be heard on WXNT. The other major change to our lineup involves two of our most popular hosts: Glenn Beck and Neal Boortz. Both hosts have very passionate fans. However, based on the results of several listener surveys, Beck & Boortz will "flip" timeslots effective tomorrow. Glenn Beck will now be heard from 10:00am to 1:00pm weekdays with Neal Boortz moving to the 6:00pm evening slot. So, here's the new Fall lineup on Newstalk 1430-AM WXNT: 6:00am to 10:00am -- Abdul in the Morning
10:00am to 1:00pm -- Glenn Beck
1:00pm to 3:00pm -- Bill O'Reilly (The Radio Factor)
3:00pm to 6:00pm -- Dennis Miller
6:00pm to 9:00pm -- Neal Boortz
9:00pm to 10:00pm -- Best of Abdul
10:00pm to 1:00am -- Alan Colmes
1:00am to 4:00am -- The New Phil Hendrie Show
Fox News Radio every hour! Along with these changes, we're proud to announce the extension of live streaming hours. You can now hear Abdul, Boortz, Alan Colmes, and Phil Hendrie on WXNT.com live. Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, and Dennis Miller do not allow local stations to stream their program -- during those hours, WXNT.com will stream Abdul & Boortz encores for your enjoyment. We know these changes may upset some of you; but, please check out the new lineup and I'm confident you'll enjoy the most entertaining national and local hosts in talk radio. We're also committed to providing the best fair and balanced news coverage with Fox News Radio and the most informed political coverage on Indianapolis radio. On behalf of Abdul and the entire Newstalk 1430-AM Team, thank you SO much for listening to WXNT. Please, tell your friends! Scott Sands
