Mobile WXQW flips to ESPN sports talk

Was fiddling with the radio while waiting on fireworks this evening and noticed that WXQW has dropped their b-tier news talk programming for ESPN sports talk. It's being branded as "Jox Mobile". Not sure if it's all network or if there are local shows. The programming lineup on the website still shows the old conservative talk lineup, because Cumulus.
 
It could very well be an extension of the WJOX programming out of Birmingham. Easy way to expand since they're in the shadow of Tuscaloosa.
Could it have an effect on WNSP and 99.5? Worse things could happen, like another station succumbing to EMF or another god-caster....
 
I'm not trying to yuck anyone's yum but I sure don't want the radio dial here to wind up like it is in Panama City where it seems like every other station is religious.

Cume-less still hasn't updated the Jox program lineup so who knows if it's got anything from the Birmingham station or not. I'm not about to, you know, actually listen to sports talk to find out, lol.

While Panama City was way-over radioed, what happened to the old Double-O Powell cluster was tragic. One by one, they were all "resurrected".

I see it as a win as long as a station doesn't go religious or syndicated talk. There's even a "betting" variety of sports radio stations now, but as long as
Alabama is Alabama, you won't see in on a station licensed here.
