Lexington, Ky brand new urban oldies. Thank you WXRA AM 1580 for filling the format hole in central KY.
 
THEY ARE BANGING!!!!!!! I'm listenning Thursday afternoon 1pm hour (Boston) time.
THEY ARE BANGING!!!!!!! They are playing the long version of "Midus Touch" by Midnight Star. This made my day today.
THIS STATION IS BANGING!!!!! WE NEED THIS TYPE OF STATION IN BOSTON.
They sound much better then WILD 1090am here in Boston, they sound wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better
 
Agreed, this new station sounds great 8)

Hopefully, Clear Channel will bring this format to other cities.

Nice stereo stream with song/artists listings and even song lyrics.

Thanks for the heads up. Listened to their webstream today. I was very impressed. Great variety of oldies. Including some clubs tracks that I wouldn't expect to hear on a Lexington radio station. Like Barbara Mason's "Another Man", a big club hit in NY that I didn't thing had an audience elsewhere.
 
I listened to them for about an hour one night and they sounded good, they played some stuff I haven't heard in a while, they even mixed in a little Disco like Heaven Knows by Donna Summer. From looking at their coverage map on Radio Locator.com they have a booming signal in the daytime, the nighttime you may not be so lucky unless you live near the tower :) Maybe Clear Channel should look at moving it to an FM some time in the future, if they did that, that would hurt WBTF-107.9 a little bit in the ratings.
