Major skip last night!
I live within the major signal contour of WRKI I-95, but on the way home from
New York, at about 12:30am while just around the corner from my house, I
heard something dipping into their signal pretty heavily. I backed up the car
about 10 feet and heard a station playing old radio shows. It turned out to
be WXTK out of Hyannis, Mass (cape cod) blasting in crystal clear, right over
the top of wrki. At first I thought it was somebody's part 15 station.
I'm in Newtown, CT... 164 miles between stations. Just to give you an idea, here
