WXTU HD3?

Is there supposed to be an HD3 channel on 92.5? For the past few weeks, my radio's been trying to lock onto WXTU-3, but I keep getting "Not Available"??

It runs some sort of CNN news, its been on awile now....their HD-2 is Current Hot Country and their HD-3 is Headline News or something like that from CNN....I wish they would put Country Classics on their HD-3...

If indeed the HD3 channel is WWDB-AM, this could explain why ccuphl gets "not available" when tuning in at night - the station is a daytimer.

I tried it today, it is WWDB but its about 20 seconds behind the 860 signal. Tonight it was still on after dark, running the business format....I noticed on HD signals the HD-3 is usually the weakest of them all, maybe he is just too far from the xmtr, to grab the HD-3.

I've noticed that KYW on WYSP-HD3 is pretty far behindKYW on 1060-AM too.

Generally, the HD-2 or HD-3 of an FM signal broadcast at less bandwidth than the main HD-1 one feed. More or less IBOC on the FM can support at most three multicast feeds of which at least up to two can be broadcast in stereo. I think KYW on WYSP-HD2 is broadcast in stereo but WIP on WYSP-HD3 is broadcast in mono.
