They should invite all of that station's loyal listeners to attend. They could hold the event at McDonalds.

Better be a pretty big McDonald's. Check the records. B94 had a 9.5 share in Spring 1990. In less than two years, B94 was down to 4.7 and Mix Jamz had a 4.2. They did some major damage to B94's ratings.

Don't you think that had a little to do with "pop" going away and listeners being presented with a choice of either techno/dance or Nirvana/grunge? Neither of which could be played in offices like B94 could.

Don't know why it happened and, at this late date, it doesn't matter since both stations are long gone. The point is RR seemed to be trying to dismiss Mix Jamz as some trifling footnote when the fact is it put a major dent in B94 -- so much so that EZ bought Mix Jamz and changed it to country.

BEST. SHOW. EVER.

And anyone who says different, they were either not there, or lying.

THANKS to everyone who worked their butts off to make this happen. :)
