Hey, is it just me or does anyone else think that 103.3 is playing more alternative/new rock than they ever have before? I mean, it just seems to me that they've tweaked their playlist to include more alternative songs and fewer classic rock songs. I don't know, maybe it's just me and their playlist hasn't changed much at all over the years (as far as the ratio of new rock to classic rock goes, that is). Personally, I wish they would just drop the classic rock completely and become an alternative rock station already!! Seems like more and more "active rock" stations are doing that anyways. Any thoughts?
 
Z103 used to be an alternative back years ago....I think. I wish we had a source for alternative in the Bowling Green area....oh well. I'll just keep using my sprint phone to listen to KYSR.
 
Bowling Green, huh? I would say you could try 102.9 (WBUZ/La Vergne-Nashville), but that would probably be like trying to pick up Louisville's alternative station, 93.1, from here in Lexington, just not gonna happen. If only they were on one of Nashville's more powerful FM's, like the country stations, WRVW, WGFX, WCJK, etc... and yes, I have done my share of wishing Lexington had a true alternative station too, or that 93.1 The Fox would at least move to a more powerful signal. It's a shame...
 
Commonwealth Broadcasting has a Translator on 103.1 just for the sole purpose of making difficult to get 102.9 the buzz. In Fact commonwealth has several Translators in service just to block out of market signals.
