Living in Danville, it can't be THIS HARD to null out WKDF for WXZZ. Near impossible when I move the dipole and walk away, here comes WKDF right back into my ONKYO
 
WKDF (formally WKDA -fm) has been licenced since 1962 on 103.3. They were on this channel first. They went 100kw in the early 1970's. WXZZ was licensed in 1972(?) as a class A. The FCC doesn't take into account tropo when they do allocations. Spacing (miles or KM) is how they figured the allocations. Basically you should be able to pick up a licensed station in it's 60 dm when there is no tropo. It's on fccdata.org or the red circle on radio-locator is close too.

I believe you live in the sub 50 dm area so the WXZZ signal is not protected. Infact a near by translator could severely mess with the signal near you like W273CT Canton GA did to WPZE Atlanta (Mapleton) GA.
