WYBE channel 35 missing from DirecTv

This channel has been missing for awhile with the message on the screen saying that this channel is temporarily not available. Not that I care that this channel is missing but now, it says in the programming guide that this channel temporarily not available. DirecTv's not even wasting bandwith broadcasting a message now on the screen now. Comcast digital cable has about 4 WYBEs (regular and a bunch of sub-channels). What's the deal? WYBE not able to get a signal to Center City where DirecTv picks up its OTA? Fiber to Comcast's super headend in Delaware like the rest of the broadcast stations in Philly?

The following is on WYBE's website:

Please note: DISH Network has dropped MiND.
For exact listings on cable and satellite, please contact your specific provider. If your provider does not carry our channels, please tell them you want to watch MiND!

Are you on DirecTV?
DirecTV is not currently broadcasting MiND 35.1 or Global MiND 35.2. We hope to remedy this in the future and we apologize for any inconvenience. Our channels are available through broadcast TV (over the air) with a convertor box, through Comcast and Verizon Fios.

I like WYBE DT-3, which is MHz Worldview, and the primary signal is ok for some programs too.

Fios carries the primary signal and they more recently added Global Mind DT-2.

Dish dropped WYBE at the must-carry cycle. I don't know the situation but I think it's because WYBE most likely out of negligence didn't submit a must-carry request, and the one Dish had on file was old. I was unable to reach anyone at (likely poorly staffed) WYBE.

Maybe the same was true with DirecTV, i.e. no current must-carry election on file.

For Dish and DirecTV, there is a significant recurring cost for uplinking each TV station (moreso than what Fios incurs), so they figured, where its extraneous, it's not worth it to have it uplinked.

I think if one is 40 miles away like in Atlantic County, he/she loses out as it might not be possible to use an antenna to get WYBE. Anyways, the satellite companies figure there are international channels for purchase, and other PI channels like Link TV that cover the programming. Comcast doesn't offer WYBE in Southeast NJ. However, when Fios launches in Atlantic Co., WYBE will likely be available.

But at least they carry GSN, which Comcast CC-S-SW Philly still refuses to carry for some unknown reason...every other service carries this channel. I cannot understand this and when contacted they have no real answer....they say no room which is bull...its carried on the digital tier, I think on channel 127, which is free on this system...what is really up with this...

Comcast doesn't carry WYBE on any of it's Ocean County systems either, however Cablevision *DOES* carry WYBE in parts of Monmouth County. Over the air WYBE is now one of the strongest DTV signals here in Ocean County while their analog signal was always one of the weakest.

My experience in Central Ocean County, about 1/2 mile from Barnegat Bay, is similar.

Signal aside, does anyone watch this mish-mosh of 'programming?' I greatly preferred the pre-MiND offerings of WYBE. Once in a great while I'll stumble onto something interesting, but most of the time.... I guess the expatriate foreigners enjoy some of the international offerings.
