WYHT Y-105 is just awful!

Found the station's streaming is back. But it's all satellite and music sounds ok but no live jocks? This station was much better years and years ago with live jocks. Why has Clear Channel done this to their stations? KBRK B93.7 sounds 10 thousand times better than this! WCPZ Mix 102.7 just outside of the Mansfield area sounded better than them when I heard them online.

They use the Hot AC Premium Choice format. It's happening to most small-market stations. Their playlist is good, but I disagree with the "All The Hits" positioner.

Yeah...It's a shell of it's former self. Whomever programs this is not a programmer.

There is no programming department anymore; just IT.

WYHT has always essentially been Hot AC.. They leaned more CHR/Mainstream back in 2005 following the demise of Kiss 98.3/107.7 (which was a great sounding CHR for a small market) Now it appears they are straight up Hot AC again

I used to love Y-105, 93Q, 96 (now 98) WKDD when I was living in Lodi, Ohio back in the late 90's but from what I hear now they are not very good, oh well.....lol

93Q.. now there's a reference I haven't heard in a while. Last I heard about them they were running a classic hits format off the bird after a few years of soft ac under when they were under the clear channel regime.

Ya, back then 93Q was actually my favorite of the 3. A couple years ago I was in Ashland visiting my mom, and I heard they changed to Eagle 93,7 and they sounded like a softer version of Mix 106.

Y-105 was CHR back in the '80's-I remember "Foster & the Fox" in the morning, "Rick Dees Weekly Top 40" & "American Music Magazine" every weeknight. They leaned a little on the southern rock side-(38 Special, Aerosmith, etc). Previously they were WCLW, 1140am & 105.3 fm. They ran Talknet overnights.
