The brain trust at Maverick needs to be fired. The variety format does not work in this region. Not in Madison and NOT in Chicago!!! They are going to take half their listening from B103. GENIUS!!!!!!!!
 
WDEK/Nine-FM had good numbers in the spring, at least for a rimshot. Maybe WYHY will take a bite out of ZOK--they're basically variety hits during the day anyway.
 
OK it is now around (PM and I have had the chance to listen a bit... To me I like what I have heard so far... Where will Tim and Manic wind up??? The folks at the cloud company I bet are having a party since The Eagle has won the classic rock war... Will Skye open the playlist up a bit at The Eagle or will it stay the same??? How much of an impact will BOB have on B 103??? From what I heard tonight It may hurt B just a little, but it seems to be more Hot AC/ Classic hits with a sprinkle of disco and a few "oh wow" tunes thrown in... Now that Rockford has a VH station will B drop the welcome back weekends a stay strictly AC??? I am glad something has happend in Rockford radio... It may not be much, but hey we are talking Rockford radio here:). CC1
 
One question, did they retain the airstaff? Or did they all get blown out with this flipp to Bob-FM, I know some of the Bob's have air talent, some jacks do too. Just wondering.
 
Do they cover the market, what is their power? If an adult hits doesn't have a good signal they will have issues generating decent numbers.
 
sounds like Bob is going to do great, they have an awesome signal, great format, we'll wait and see how they do. I've liked adult hits since it debuted with CBS radio here in Chicago.
 
Well, they won't be pulling good numbers if they can't make it into buildings for at-work listening. I hope they are at least are going to stream their product so you can listen at work. Adult hits has to be a damn good signal to work or your wasting your time.
